Okay, so I have decided to give the blogosphere another shot by creating yet another blog, which is supposed to keep friends and family in the loop about what’s going on in our lives. I’ve tried this feat various times in the past but my problem is that I tend to play around more with the features and gadgets that some blogging platforms offer rather than actually writing the blog.
This time around I intend to approach things a little differently though. I promise that I will try to post an update at least once a week. I won’t make any promises in regards to the length of each entry but I will try to post at least one picture with each update. Since I never really know if people actually read what I write I would like to ask our potential readers to please leave comments whenever possible. This should encourage me to keep going. And last but not least, if you know us and you have your own blog, please e-mail me your blog address so I can add it to our Blogroll. After all I like reading other people’s blogs as much as they will hopefully like reading ours.
Welcome to our family blog. We intend to use this wonder of modern technology to keep our families and friends in the U.S. and abroad in the loop about what is happening in our lives. Especially since so much has happened during 2008. In March we bought our first home in Elgin, Illinois and in August we welcomed Baby Emilia into our lives. These events, along with our two pups Carter & Kelly and our sometimes hectic lives in a multinational household should warrant the creation of this blog. So sit back, enjoy, and leave a comment every once in a while so we know that people are actually reading what we write.
